I'm a Nomad

My life in Madrid is beginning to look more like this: 3 or 4 weekdays in Madrid, and then off gallivanting to another country for the weekends. Hey, not a bad life, right? Well, besides going through my Bank of America savings account like running water. In November alone, the trips include Germany, Greece, Amsterdam, and Lisbon, Portugal. Running through metros, catching buses, sleeping in hostels, “camping out” in airports for 5 hours, going through airport security wearing last night’s outfit, waiting in train stations, arriving in train stations and realizing I missed the last train, and taking taxis…sure jet-setting is fun and thrilling, but being warm and indoors at the cozy apartment of my Madrid family is very nice too. Estoy muy contenta estar en madrid ... Had a nice one day break in Madrid, but back in the sky tomorrow. Off to Amsterdam!
